Traffic signs and speed limits are implemented on the roads in Atlanta, and throughout Georgia, to regulate traffic. Further, these types of measures also help ensure the safety of the drivers on those roads. When motorists disregard such signs and speed limits, however, it may catch other drivers unprepared. According to reports, law enforcement believes a motorist running a stop sign may have played a part in a collision that occurred at an intersection in Lee County recently. Further, they believe speed was likely also a contributing factor. At last report, the car accident, which knocked down caution lights at the intersection, remained under investigation.
As a result of the collision, three people suffered injuries. Details regarding their specific injuries and their conditions were not disclosed. All three were reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment.
